Τthe Archetype of God, i.e. the archetypal Symbol of Wholeness (of Self, God or Individuation) emerges eternally from the psychic depths of the Unconscious and strives to lead human existence to completion. This unconscious Symbol reaches the fringes of the Conscious with the "vehicle" of Language. It is revealed in human history as Reason and is described at times through alchemical, psychological, religious and philosophical terms.
Sometimes its activation is caused by a historical figure, who, with his work and attitude, manages to function as a model and constitute the visible form (incarnation) of the divine Archetype. The culmination of such a case in the Western world is Christ, who can be understood as a Symbol of integration, managing to personify the inner disposition for Salvation (religiously), Ecstasy (philosophically), Transmutation (alchemically) and Individuation (psychologically).
In the book, this very Archetype of God is sought through many approaches, the linguistic structure of the Unconscious is underlined and the ontological quality of Emptiness and Silence is recognized in the philosophical thought of both the West and the East.
