Jidu Krishnamurti is undoubtedly one of the most important spiritual teachers of the modern era. And this is his full and complete biography!
It was in 1909 when members of the Theosophical Society "discovered" a young boy on a beach in India, to distinguish in his charismatic personality the new Messiah of the world. Very quickly, his life, like a fairy tale, was covered by mysticism, scandals and religious fervor, until in 1929 and with his public speech, he renounced the role attributed to him, causing chain reactions and the attention of the international press.
For the next few years, and until his death in 1986, he pursued an ardent mission of secularized philosophy around the globe, which resulted in seven independent schools, more than 50 books, and thousands of speeches around the world, thus writing one, one of the most important chapters of Western Esotericism and spiritual quest.
"I maintain that Truth is a pathless place, and you cannot approach it by any path, by any religion, by any sect. Truth, being unlimited, without conditions, cannot be organized. Nor should any organization be created to lead or coerce people down a particular path towards it. I don't want followers, and I mean it! The moment you follow someone, you stop following the Truth. So I want to bring something specific to the world and I will do it with unwavering commitment: To free man! I want to free him from all bonds, from all fears, and not to establish religions, nor to establish new theories and new philosophies."
